The Navy has been a huge part of my life since 1981. After 6 years of active duty, I joined the Naval Reserves and served for another 18 1/2 years. I chose to retire in 2005 while attached to Mobile Inshore Undersea Warfare Unit 205 (MIUWU-205).
It was an experience that I wouldn't trade for anything! Traveled around the world, working on high tech computer and communications equipment. There were good and bad times, but somehow it's usually only the good times come to mind.
